From the artist: "This photograph was taken
on the rock ledges on the west side of the Welsh coastal town
of Porthcawl. A clear evening with little sky interest, I
concentrated on the interaction between the incoming tide
and the highly textured limestone pavement. To simplify the
image, a long exposure of 100 seconds was used to give the
smoky quality to the sea."
