For our final offering before Christmas we bring you a rather ‘new topographical’ take on the holiday season.
‘Christmas Tree, Alley’ from David Schalliol shows an otherwise unremarkable alley in Phoenix, Arizona, brought to life by an individual expression of Christmas spirit.
As a photographer and sociologist, David Schalliol is interested how people organize the world around them. He’s particularly known for his Isolated Building Studies project, which examines the divergent investment processes in Chicago neighborhoods. Selected images from this project can be purchased through Catherine Edelman Gallery.
He is currently working on a variety of projects exploring the transformation of urban centers in the United States.
This gorgeous and poignant print is available from just £19…
Today we are delighted to feature Wave 3, our first photograph from Kent based Chris Friel.
Chris is a relatively recent convert to photography from painting. He purchased a camera in 2006 and hasn’t painted since. Being colourblind, he has worked largely in mono, but has recently produced some striking elemental and dreamlike colour landscape photographs.
Today we feature ‘Rising Tide’ - a classic mono landscape and the third photograph we have available from Adam Clutterbuck.
Adams says: “This photograph was taken on the rock ledges on the west side of the Welsh coastal town of Porthcawl. A clear evening with little sky interest, I concentrated on the interaction between the incoming tide and the highly textured limestone pavement. To simplify the image, a long exposure of 100 seconds was used to give the smoky quality to the sea.”
All three fantastic prints are available from just £19 each plus postage and packing.

We continue our peak at the Hereford Photography Festival by featuring a series from Michael Danner - who is one of the photographers featured in the headline exhibition ‘Twenty’.
More ‘Blue Suburban Skies’.
Our latest print is ‘In Memory of 12′ by Brighton-based photographer Wendy Pye:

From the artist: “Beachy Head in south east England is known for its quintessential English scenery and also a well-known location for suicide attempts. ‘In Memory Of’ is the first photographic series of the project Beachy Head and documents the flower memorials found along Britain’s highest cliff edge. Through quality of light and feeling for nature, these memorials become symbolic of human fragility and our relationship with loss, tragedy and death.”
The print is available in our usual three sizes, starting from just £19 + p&p.
