Pick of the Day - Interview with Bill Brandt

Tuesday, January 19th, 2010

The pick today isn’t an image, but a video interview with ‘Master’ photographer Bil Brandt. The video is part of a 1983 BBC ‘Master Photographers’ series.

It’s striking that in the interview he comes across as a rather quiet and slightly reticent individual. However the sort of documentary and photojournalism he excelled at would indicate that when he had a camera in his hand he was a purposeful individual.

The video can be found here. It’s in four parts. You may need to scroll through the thumbnails to get to it.
