The pick today isn’t an image, but a video interview with ‘Master’ photographer Bil Brandt. The video is part of a 1983 BBC ‘Master Photographers’ series.

It’s striking that in the interview he comes across as a rather quiet and slightly reticent individual. However the sort of documentary and photojournalism he excelled at would indicate that when he had a camera in his hand he was a purposeful individual.

Today’s pick is a video of a TED talk by Edward Burtynsky, describing his wish that his images help persuade millions to join a global conversation on sustainability.
