Photographers>>>Sarah Amy Smith

Sarah Amy Smith

Sarah Amy Smith was born and brought up in Cornwall and considers her work and outlook to be very much influenced by rural life and those who choose to live a life removed from the masses.

Sarah has travelled extensively but it was her recent return to Cornwall that brought a renewed appreciation of the misty days and the hardiness of its people.

Sarah will be continuing her project about Cornwall and its people, 'Of Land and Sea' throughout 2010. Sarah's photographs will also be representing Cornwall in Stuart Pilkington's forthcoming project, 'What is England'.

Sarah has been shortlisted for the Seeds of Change Food Photography Competition 2006 (in association with The Observer) and for the Fujifilm Student Photographer of the Year 2007.
