Shelley Rose

Nature and traces of man's presence in it forms a key focus in Shelley's work, as well as portraying surreal and estranged places, or creating an altered reality.

Shelley's interest in landscape focuses on remote, and at times uninhabitable places. It is these aspects of nature that he finds most exciting and challenging to portray.

In his work he is capturing space and creating panoramic vistas. He works through a lens to record the atmosphere on film. The pictures are then digitally manipulated and the colours subtly transformed to intensify the light and render the landscape into a timeless space.

Shelley's stillife photography is represented by Bluemoon Gallery, Tunbridge Wells: bluemoongallery.co.uk
